Would you like to control the volume, music source or other settings on your professional sound system? Then this can be done in many different ways depending on the desired functionalities. We'll list a few for you:

Web interface: Via any browser you can log on to the web interface of the different AUDAC devices. Here you can make your desired changes.

On the device: Is your hardware installed in an easily accessible place? Then you can also control your installation by using the physical control panels on the various devices themselves.

The NMP40 audio streaming module allows you to stream audio files directly from internet streaming services to your professional audio system with the best available sound quality. Through our unique collaborations with streaming services such as Spotify you are able to integrate them effortlessly.

To ensure you don't fall four of music licensing rules, we recommend you to use Soundtrack Your Brand. Soundtrack Your Brand is the provider of the world's largest catalogue of popular music, licensed for professional use. Would you like to play music via a bluetooth connection to your sound system? Then you can choose for the BMP40 professional bluetooth module. This module can be installed in the XMP44 modular music player and allows you to play music from any Bluetooth-enabled device.

If your sound system includes an AUDAC PRE series preamplifier, you can use the integrated Bluetooth receiver to play your music directly via a Bluetooth 4.1 connection.

Choosing a music source for your hospitality business may not seem difficult, but still requires a lot of attention. Even before you can consider the different possibilities, there are a lot of things to think about. Are there legal obligations that I have to comply with in order to legally play the music or can I opt for royalty-free music? Which music suits the style and experience I want to convey? Which music appeals to my target group? Do I need a certain flexibility for private parties such as birthdays or corporate events?

To make it as easy as possible for you, we have developed the XMP44 modular music player that can host up to 4 music players that you can choose according to your own wishes and needs. The variety of music sources give you the freedom you need to create the right atmosphere at any time.

We design products that last! In the development process that takes place entirely in Belgium, we only use high-quality components that guarantee a long product lifespan. And because we are so convinced of the quality, we offer everyone 3 years warranty on hardware such as amplifiers and media players and 5 years warranty on our speakers.

This is highly dependant on the composition of the system, the desired sound pressure level and the floor area of your business. The highest consumption components of a sound system are, of course, the amplifiers; the louder the music, the more power they have to deliver and the higher the energy use.

That's why we strive to make our products as energy efficient as possible. For example, several of our amplifiers have been awarded the Energy Star label because they are equipped with smart standby functions that reduce energy consumption when not in use. This focus on efficiency both in use and standby mode gives you huge savings.

By strategically placing your speakers, you can guarantee optimal sound dispersion that keeps both the high and low tones of your music within the room and minimises noise pollution. As a result, you don't have to worry about any inconvenience or reducing themusic volume.

You need to carry out your own risk assesment and possibly a noise exposure survey. The limiters on AUDAC amplifiers allow you to set a maximum output level that will help you keep within the parameters determined by your risk assesment.

Do you own a restaurant, cafe or bar? Then you have to pay a fee if you want to play music of which someone else is the author, performer or producer. In the UK, the collection and distribution of royalties to rights holders is the responsibility of PRS and PPL.

TheMusicLicence from PPL PRS allows you to legally play music for employees or customers in your business through the radio, TV, other digital devices and live performances.

TheMusicLicense is required in addition to any fees you pay streaming services or the the money spent on downloads, CDs or records.

By installing the NMP40 streaming module with a Soundtrack Your Brand subscription, your professional audio system connects to the world's largest catalogue of music licensed for use in commercial premises.

Installation

The difference between a 100V sound system and a low-impedance public address audio system can be found in the application. For example, a 100V audio system is used when cable lengths are very long or when many speakers need to be connected on a single circuit. A 100V loudspeaker is equipped with a transformer, which allows you to choose the different wattages per loudspeaker. In a low-impedance sound system, loudspeakers are typically 4, 8 or 16 ohms and connect directly to an amplifier without a transformer. This results in a natural sound for your hospitality environment.

In order to provide our customers with the best possible support, we have a certified partner network at their disposal, who install and maintain AUDAC sound systems. If you are looking for a certified partner in your area, take a look at the next page:

To ensure optimal and stable sound quality it is necessary to wire your speakers to a central point. However, controlling your sound system and streaming music can be done completely wirelessly, we have developed our own application AUDAC Touch™ which allows you to control your entire system via any smart device.

Loudspeakers

One of the challenges for bar and restaurant owners is to provide optimal sound quality in outdoor areas (beer garden, terrace, patio etc.). High frequencies can be disturbed by the wind, which means we need to be sure that sound reaches the crowd. In addition, a loudspeaker is subjected to extreme weather and temperature conditions. With the wide range of outdoor AUDAC loudspeakers we are able to meet these acoustic challenges and offer a suitable solution for your outdoor spaces.

The number and type of loudspeakers that need to be installed in your bar or restaurant depends on several factors; the size and shape of your room plays a role, but of course the different purposes you want to achieve (foreground music, background music ...) play a very important role as well. In order to put together the right solution for your bar or restaurant, we will be happy to give you expert tailored advice.

It is not necessary to provide an power socket next to your passive speakers, as these speakers receive their power over the speaker cable from the connected amplifier. An active loudspeaker, on the other hand, contains an amplifier part in its housing, which means that it has to be powered directly from an electrical outlet.

The choice of AUDAC ceiling or wall-mounted loudspeakers depends on many factors including your own requirements but the architecture of your room (low or high ceiling) also plays a very important role. For example, a wall-mounted or surface-mounted loudspeaker allows you to specifically determine your distribution angle, while the design of the loudspeaker can add value to your bar or restaurant. Ceiling loudspeakers, on the other hand, have a fixed spread angle and can be minimalist and space-saving in the design of a bar or restaurant.
